Established in August of 1996, the ABCON – Brazilian Association of Concessionaries congregates rendering private companies of public water and sewage services, as well as other companies connected directly or indirectly to the sanitation sector’s productive chain, below described:

All the activities of ABCON are ruled by the Code of Conduct that establishes minimum conditions of behavior to direct its activities and the associated companies’ activities, committed in leading actions in the strict compliance of laws and following ethical standards recognized by the Brazilian society.
ABCON compromises itself to treat the associated companies with equity, isonomy, transparency and impartiality, promoting efforts so that they act ethically and legally, based on the system of free enterprise and the competition.
